Network Packet Sniffer

In Computer Engineering 530, Advanced Protocols and Network, I Learned about various types of networks, and protocols including DNS, ARPs, TCP, UDP, and IP. I also wrote a packet sniffer to interpret network traffic.  I did this by starting with an open source project called TCP Dump  witch would grab the all of the bits off of the network. I took the Dump program and added additional functionality to decipher the bit strings coming off the network.

this was a very good project,  I learned a lot from this class and the project I found it to be one of the most interesting classes that I have ever taken hear at Iowa State or any were else.  I would certainly recommend this class to anyone interested in networking or field related to it.
