While working as a
technician's assistant for the Department of Electrical and
Computer Engineering, the department was given a $24,000
contract to build 12 Motorola PowerPC 555 Power Boxes for
another university.
I was given the opportunity to help out on this
project and I jumped on it. It gave me a
chance to apply some of the things that I had learned in
a real world application as well as gain some new skills
that I would not have other wise had the chance to
obtain.
